Whatever can I buy my six year old?

Ds turns six the week before Christmas and I have no idea what to buy him for Christmas or birthday. Octonauts is his current big love but I’m wary of buying too much character related stuff because they go off it so easily. Would welcome any suggestions! Has bike Yoto player etc!

A scooter? A football and net?

My dd loved those dig kits, you can get all different ones depending on what he likes. It’s a tradition that she gets one every Christmas and she’s 20 now 😂

Thanks. He has a scooter although he might like a micro one - had a look at the one someone mentioned up thread. Problem is we have to drive to use it and if we’re going somewhere scooter friendly he’d probably rather take his bike. So I don’t know how much use he’d get out of it!

Lmao, OP, my 6yo is the same in toy shops. His 4yo brother is much more measured and typically loves what he chooses... but my 6yo gets really fixated on random stuff I know he won't play with and then 'loves' the item(s) (aka is possessive over it if I try to donate it or let a sibling play with it) but doesn't really play with them at all.
