Closest 'Selection Box' to the giant ones from my childhood but still not quite as big...

£9.99 - Home Bargains

The netted sock selection chocs..70s style no way you were polishing that off solo before lunch.

This thread is making me hungry. Another vote here for bringing back the old fashioned selection boxes in the net stocking with proper sized chocolate bars not full of palm oil. Taste of Christmas past!
I have also been stocking up, but sadly one box of matchmakers didn't make it, hopefully there will not be too many more casualties....

Terry’s Chocolate Orange (original) currently 95p at Tesco.

Thanks for the thread. Just picked up the malted ball selction box from M&S and an old style biscuit selection - DH was with me and was frowning - bloody grinch! No advent calendars in ours in Knaresborough yet

Tango Selection Box at Home Bargains:

I have tried the Jaffa Elf and it was very tasty 😀You can also get them in Iceland.

Bought these this morning in Lidl. Panettone £5.99 and stocking gift Mario Uno £4.99 (Minecraft also available for the same price!). DS (6) is mad on panettone so this will be demolished over the weekend I imagine.

I picked up a tub of celebrations from Asda today for £3.85 the other tubs of chocolates weren't on offer just those.

I could actually eat those 2 until im sick.

Ooooh........runs to Sainsbury's

Not technically a 'treat' but there was a lady in Home Bargains struggling with 5 of these in her trolley! We got chatting about them as one kept falling out of her trolley and I caught it one of the times.

Anyway, she's buying them to make 'Christmas Hampers' with!

Good idea!
