I must admit I'd be mortified if someone gave me such an expensive gift that I'd then be obliged to display.

I like them, and I think if money were no object I could imagine buying a few to hang in a home office, but I think buying artwork for others as a gift is a very risky business!

Not my thing at all but if someone likes them then I guess a nice gift? They’re very niche you’d need the right room to display them in.
