Ideally not needoh although out of stock most places.
She's way past barbies / unicorns / stitch etc.
She's previously had a charm bracelet one, lego and make up ones. Ideally no more than £30 as i have 3 to buy for the dcs.

The Playmobil ones are good. There’s a Christmas Market one on offer on their site.

Make your own? If you happen to be in the greater Bristol area I have 2 Liberty advent calendar house/box thing in my loft for anyone who can make use of them to refill. First come first served obviously. Can meet at gordano services with them.

I have been making them for my daughter for the last couple of years and wish I had thought of it sooner to be honest - cheaper AND better.

I got a personalised fabric calender with pockets off Temu (sorry) for about £7.

Fill it with stuff like:
Lip balms
Pin badges
Rubbers
Mini note books
Earrings
Fidgets
Other little novelties.

She loves it and Iove doing it!

Last year dd had the Thames and Kosmos Science calendar, which was great but some experiments needed adult help and so we ended up saving some until the weekends! I’d definitely recommend it though if you’ve got the time. Dd loved it.
This year I think I’ll get her the Little People Big Dreams calendar as she loved the book series.

I’m getting mine one of the bracelet ones as she’s not had one before. She wanted the needough one but I said no as I’m sick of them bursting all the time.

Others I’ve considered:

Sea glass
rubber ducks (a hit with my older DD when she was 10yo)
the bitty Funko pops
gem stones or crystals
socks

My dc really liked a gem stone calendar I got them about that age. I also did the bracelet one and a funky pop one.

Mine still like the Lego advent calendars as teenagers and the extra Lego can get added to the general Lego collection after Christmas.

If you get really stuck, maybe just go back to chocolate.

I know Chocolate is generally not seen as "enough" these days, compared to all the special advent calendars, that have to be different each year, but children love chocolate? It still works great as an advent calendar.

My dd loved her Accessorize jewellery one last year, it's £30 but not available yet, the Candy Kittens one is good too. The joseph's popcorn one was a hit a couple of years ago. I'm thinking about a marshmallow one for her this year!

What about the accesorize advent calendar? It contains a mix of jewellery and haircare. Not sure if it might be a bit young for her? It's £30 but often blue light card have discounts on accesorize which worked for me last year. I ordered one today (had a 20% discount code for my birthday).
