Original gift presentation needed

Every year I give all the women in the family (Mum, Sisters in Law, sister and stepdaughters) à Xmas gift consisting of various items collected, bought, freebies, samples etc though the year. Usually beauty items like 10 ml perfumes, eye and face masks, travel products like mascaras etc etc. It’s not cheap but I have fun collecting all the items. I’ve also been collecting my sample tea bags from Bird & Blend to add in.

The presentation has varied, from old beauty boxes, such as the Liberty beauty drop boxes when they were still pretty, furoshiki style ( pretty scarves(from charity shops) folded) decoupage boxes (that took a while) gift bags, and last year everyone had their bits and bobs in a Uniqlo round bag. It started as a cheap way to give presents but has snowballed a bit.

Now this year I’m a bit stumped. My imagination has failed me. I keep wanting to stop and just give a ‘normal’ present but the wails ensuing after I proposed this have convinced me to carry on. And the piles of stuff I’ve stashed away already means it would all go to waste.

So what would you suggest? I’m not naturally crafty. I can’t sew. I don’t mind buying bags/boxes but I’ve done them before.
Help.

What about a hamper basket or one of those make up bags that opens into a flat circle shape, or how about making a bespoke cracker and cover it in a nice fabric?

Have you got any good quality empty advent calendars , you could do Frankenstein versions putting in all your bits . Failing that I’d buy nice velvet stockings and put ribbon around the top to secure the goodies and then a home made gift tag to each person .

Unfortunately I donated my advents to my mum to use as displays in the charity shop she volunteers in.

Home made cracker sounds good but they’d have to be huge.

Get storage canisters (the sort that aren't labelled Tea, Coffee, Sugar) or cake tins and fill one of those for each of them.

Christmas tea towels and tie it up with string or ribbon.
How big are the things? Would it fit in pretty bowls or vases from the charity shop?

I’ve bought little canvas bags from the pound shop before that had Christmas pictures printed and came with pens to colour it in.They were fun, you could probably find somewhere cheap to get canvas bags with personalised initials.

How about getting a lovely stocking for each of them and then asking them to let you have them back to refill the next year? I love the refill idea. My neighbour does this with her family and collects them in January.

Put the gifts inside a cylindrical storage cansiter. Then wrap in christmas fabric to create an oversized Christmas cracker. Tie off each end first with elastic bands and then ribbon tied in bows

Thank you for the suggestions. I’m currently leaning towards some flat lay bags from Vinted as I can put heaps in those. I’ll have a browse of the charity shops as well to look for baskets.

Buy a wSh bag and fill it with the samples.
