What are you getting your 7 year olds?

My DD will just have turned 7 at Christmas and was looking for inspiration to then suggest to her to put on her list. She has ASN and likes to follow whatever is “in”, although is not young for her age.

drawing and crafting are definitely her favourite thing, but also loves little surprise toys and setting her barbies and babies up to play schools etc.

Just to add, I’ve pre-ordered some of the k-pop demon hunters dolls as I think that she might like these!

DD loves electronic pets and so I’m currently considering the Vtech secret life of kitty, a Tamagotchi Paradise, or the Disney version of Bitzee (although not sure if it would be too similar to her other Bitzee).

We always get her a board game, so this year it’s Bugs in the Kitchen.

She likes playing with her cousin’s Marble Rush set and I’ve seen they’ve just brought out a girlie edition, so might get her that.

Craft wise, she’s very into slime (Gui Gui), Hama beads and Loom bands but doesn’t need any more of those. She went through a phase of liking Sticki Rolls and I think she’d like a Spirograph and polymer clay (maybe a Tiny Yums kit).

I’ve just given her some of my old Polly Pockets and she’s loving them, so I reckon they’ll be on her list this year!

my DD loved her Disney Bitzee & previously had the original, so would definitely recommend it. I did see that they’ve just brought out a Kpop demon hunters one also.

My daughters going to be 6 but similar likes! We ordered the k pop dolls for her birthday so hopefully that'll be a big hit.

Smart watch? I got my child a kids Garmin last year and he absolutely loves tracking his steps and sleep!

my DD loves sylvanian families. I've managed to find quite a few sets in their packing on vinted as they can get fairly pricey. The Range also currently have a fantastic range of dupes which feel exactly like the real ones. We also got her one of the houses off of Facebook Marketplace.

Another hit has been a subscription to a magazine, last year we got her the chickadee one (craft magazine) which has been fab. It's aimed at ages 6-8 so think we may repeat this one this year, or potentially the Nat Geographic kids one. She loves receiving something each month in the post!

I have a DS but I think he’ll be getting a proper desk as his main Christmas present and maybe some other bits and pieces to make his room more ‘grown up’

DD is abiut to turn 7 next week. She is all about arts, crafts, animals and cute stuff. We jsut came back from Disney, so she had some stuff there too, but things that she will get for either bday or Xmas include

Following this! We usually do a mix of toys and more practical gifts. What I have planned so far DD (who turns 7 just after Christmas). Some of these gifts will be from grandparents too:

Sylvanian stuff - a house, another building like a shop, some more furniture and accessories. I'll probably buy the house new as her main gift but the rest will be from Vinted. She's obsessed with SF so I know this will land well

Books - already started gathering these, mostly second hand. Horrible Histories, Isadora Moon etc

Trinket box - plan to paint, decorate and line this myself. She loves trinkets and I need somewhere for them to live 🫠

Gymnastics leotard and branded gymnastics hoodie

New bedding

Trainers (usually gets light up/sparkly Skechers as they are pricier than I'd normally pay!)

An Isabelle from Animal Crossing build a bear teddy (requested by her)
