I know its only August but I have no idea what to get my ds. He is 23, is neurodiverse, has a job, likes online gaming, plays tennis once a week with a club and meets with a group for dungeons and dragons every fortnight. But no mates, however seems happy enough. I have no idea what to get him. He has no interest in clothes or fashion, or music or theatre. Has money, I dont know anything about dungeons and dragons so not sure if there is a possible gift there?
Im really stuck for ideas!!

Ray Ban Meta Glasses?

When you say no theatre do you mean no cinema too? Ds18’s favourite gift was a tear pass to the cinema his aunty got him, it meant he could go and see whatever he wanted when he wanted to. Also Lego, manga books, sweets, clothes?

Hi. Is there any way you could find out what the dungeons and dragons group might like to do?
Cinema? Meal?
You could offer to pay for them (providing the group isn't too big of course)
It's a way to open up the friendship group further.

My ds plays tennis and he has a few Rafa Nadal items of kit to wear, they wash well and look really good. He has some nice Nike tennis t-shirts too.

Air pods (the noise cancelling ones) went down well.

Last Christmas he had a new ipad.

This year he's asked for a coffee machine.

I’d get tennis clothing as well.

Tickets to a tennis tournament - Davis cup ?

My friends brother is into D&D and she got some nice bits for his birthday from Amazon and Etsy, t-shirts, mugs etc…..

LadyGAgain · 02/08/2026 14:18

Could you pay his club membership for a year/period of time?

Stompythedinosaur · 07/08/2026 07:14

Dice sets, rolling trays and pouches are all good gifts for d&d players. Etsy is a good place to look!

All the d&d players I know love a geeky t-shirt. this sort of thing.

Is there an activity he'd like to try? My roleplayers friends all got into medieval swordfighting at one point, and there are courses for things like that.

Adult Lego
if he is into cooking you can get spice kits along with recipe cards that are themed ie curry night etc
experience day - racing cars, bungee jumping, canyoning, the list is endless.
Is there a bit of tech he would like?
