My inner elf has already started twitching, so it’s time to start planning!

Dds will be aged 6 and 7 this Christmas, and I want to book something nice for us as a family for a day out with me and dh, so looking for ideas please. We always do garden centres for their Christmas light displays, last year we did the Polar Express which they loved, and we’ve also done Beamish Hall Forest of Lights, Spilmans Farm Enchanted Christmas.

I’ve looked at Kielder Winter Wonderland, read reviews and watched a few videos on social media from people who have been, but not really feeling it.

We are north east based, willing to travel (maybe 2 hour max either way). Any suggestions would be great!

Alnwick Gardens Light Trail and Lindoreli (that's probably spelt wrong) is excellent. I'm sure they probably have a Santa as well but we went in January with teenagers so didn't look into the Santa element.

A coupe of years ago, Stockeld Park had an immersive North Pole village, interactive play and an enchanted elevator ride to see Father Christmas

I'm in the North East too so awaiting any other suggestions I see on this thread ! It's also my son's 2nd birthday in December so thinking of something special for the day but just within school hours before we pick my daughter up!
It's not what you asked but I have booked The Snowman at The Glasshouse but mine are younger, but I think they do older shows like Home Alone with a live orchestra which might be nice for their ages.
