You won’t get to shop with her to establish taste. I was thinking of Angel with Alien for her younger sister (13) but feel like maybe the names might be misinterpreted as a verdict?

What perfume does your 15 year old wear?

@ElliePhant28 I went into Zara specifically looking for Fashionably London and came away disappointed

Sol de janeiro seems popular with that age group. My teen also likes the Sabrina Carpenter perfumes or the Moschino Gummy one.

Yeah Sol De Janeiro was “done” as a gift 2 years ago!

I bought mine Daisy and she asked for some cheap spray things from Amazon so she could take them to school!

They had a name, I can't remember.

4 in the order... All the other girls had them, that trumped everything!

Well I bought my friend's teenager some as a birthday gift earlier this year and she seemed grateful. Unlike you.

TheGirlWhoLived · 20/07/2026 18:57

Mine loves Carolina herrera good girl

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/07/2026 19:00

@FionnulaTheCooler you’ve misunderstood me I’m afraid I was saying I’ve already bought them that gift not slating your choice, no offence meant Flowers

Def wouldn't get Alien or Angel. They're too adult. I'd lean fruity or vanilla.

Sol de Janeiro body sprays are way overpriced crap but loved by teens.
One of the fruitier Armani Si versions might be worth a sniff, or Aqua Di Gioia.
Prada rhubarb.
Carolina Herrera good girl or one of its flankers
DKNY have lots of options.
Narciso Rodriguez also has some nice ones - Ambree and Poudree come to mind, in the short square bottles. They're more adult.
Lancome La Vie Est Belle or flankers...
YSL worth a look also. Mon Paris, maybe.

system2319 · 20/07/2026 19:03

My 16 year old loves Carolina Herrera ones, especially the shoe designs.

TwilightSkies · 20/07/2026 19:05

I’d go for a Kayali one. Yum boujee marshmallow is a hit with teens.

My 15yo wanted Miss Dior for about 12 months before she got it. She also has a Sabrina carpenter and Billie Eilish one.

Kamek · 20/07/2026 19:09

Boss femme

MiddleAgedDread · 20/07/2026 19:10

DSD has Gucci flora she has expensive taste that Daddy is happy to fund

BuzzLightyearToTheRescue · 20/07/2026 19:12

My DD(15) has become a collector.

Shes a Dior girl through and through, and would choose Miss Dior Parfum or Essence. Essence is my go to. She loves J’adore but I don’t think it suits a teen 🤣

La Vie En Belle is a hit, the newest one is lovely.

Burberry Her is one of my recent favourites

Ariana Eilish and Billie Eilish are celeb perfumes, granted , but they have earned there popularity imo

The purple Valentino is next on my purchase list, along with Ariana’s Cloud Aurora

i don’t rate Kayali. It doesn’t last, it’s a bit of a fad

It’s been top of my list for a while but I found I could get the Mugler ones cheaper.

My three DDs all nick my Gucci Flora - including the one who never wears make-up or perfume.

IronEverything · 20/07/2026 19:16

YSL black opium is very popular and you can get a gift set in that

RowenaCoxwell · 20/07/2026 19:18

For one of my twin nieces I buy D&G Light Blue, for the other I buy different discovery sets each year. Another niece gets Marc Jacob (Daisy variant) although I note you don’t really like, but a long of young women seem to wear them.

searchforthesun · 20/07/2026 19:20

Not sure if they’ve been mentioned but the Glossier ones are lovely. They adapt to each person differently.

pambeesleyhalpert · 20/07/2026 18:36

I got my first perfume when j was 13, Tommy girl. Still love it now tbf

This is a good suggestion. It’s got the 90s vibes that teens seem to love at the moment, but the smell has stood the test of time.

MissBattleaxe · 20/07/2026 19:24

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/07/2026 18:42

Yeah I’m definitely not buying anyone a perfume I think is horrid. I think I will have to go and do some sniffing in Boots.

But it's not for you, it's for a 15 yo and a 13 yo.

Yes they might be but they are very distinct and way too strong for a teen/ very closing.
Also there's Marc Jacobs, pretty bottles too
Plus Moschino toys range.
It's tricky as you want one that she'll be able to afford in the future but not spend loads on one that she'll never use. Not sure I'd go down the Gucci route for the cost aspect.
I'd go vanilla or fruity/floral.
If you Google fragrances for teens, there's suggestions on The Fragrance Shop plus others bit most of them list Billie Eilish etc as already mentioned.
Versucci have a small selection set, it's very cheap but you could give her that and say if there's one she likes then you'll buy her the bigger version?
Or buy her a fragrance and give her a gift receipt. She xould then try the instore tester and exchange it before opening if she doesn't like the one you've bought?

Who buys anyone a fragrance they think is horrible?

Here April (not her name) have this I think its disgusting I thought of you.

I’m sure I can get them something that fits all remits
