Teen gift ideas to be bought through the year

I know there are a a couple of threads about teen gifts ( I started one) but I thought I’d start one specifically for stocking filler and small gift ideas that can be bought throughout the year that aren’t going to expire or worse suddenly not be fashionable 😬

All ideas welcome boy and girl and if you have any specific discount or sales links, perfect.

So far for my 12 & 14yo DDs I have

Pandora charm each
some mini cosmetics ( mascara, shower cream, primers..) from glow hub

ideas I have, some from the thread, some I’ve since thought of..

Personalised hairbrushes - I’m sick of mine going missing!
Personalised makeup brushes - as above
General nice but cheaper hairbrushes and makeup brushes I don’t mind being taken places and ultimately being lost.
Chargers, cables & cases
Autographed books - DDs are not into reading unless school enforced but fully understand the value of an authors autograph. Luckily we have a lovely little book shop near by that does a lot of book signings so I’m on the look out now.
Lego - mainly botanicals these days
School bags every day and PE

Anyone else…

Nice ideas!

I buy little craft kits or art equipment that I know she’d like, such as nice pencils. Oh, and lovely journals/sketch books with pretty covers.

Little enamel pin badges.

Hair clips that are quirky/fun.

Little pieces of scented stationery - my DD loves scented things.

My DD is spectacularly difficult to buy for - she’s autistic and not materialistic, plus struggles to think/say what she likes. She never spends birthday money. But she loves getting presents to open - it’s just tough to know what to get her, especially as she uses things up very slowly!

I will be keeping a lookout for any genius ideas that anyone else has 😂🤞

Glowing stickers
Washable hairsprays (glittery or colorful ones)
Hair accessories (my niece tends to lose all the stuff she gets so we make sure to get her plenty more every time)
Funny socks
Collectibles if they are into that and have figurines or other collections
Something related to their favorite shows or artists (there are tons of fanmade items from stickers and keychains to t-shirts and posters, and you can make something on your own, like a calendar poster or a printed hoodie/t-shirt as well)
Cute stationery like notebooks and pens of all kinds (glittery, vanishing, glowing, etc)
Arts and crafts supplies or DIY accessorie kits if they like that
Phone cases
Cute water bottles

For mine it’s Funkopops they collect, they have quite the collection now, we also attend lots of comic cons and have a lot of them autographed. Even if we don’t attend the event you can send the item off to get autographed. I did this a couple of years ago with a Christmas themed Funko, DD was ecstatic, after accusing us of going to a comic con without her 😂

Great thread! I've only got a few things for my dds so far:

Make up brushes
Fairy lights with clips to hold photos

I usually have more of a collection by this time in the year!

If anyone has teens into raquet sports, then fun design/cute/colourful grip tape is a good stocking filler.

Some of the Lego botanicals - the small sets with a few stems rather than a whole bouquet -are reasonably priced and stocking sized. There's a small plant set with faces that I'm going to get. There seems to be lego offers on at the mo.

My purchase for the Christmas stash today was some pretty bamboo travel cups. I'll probably add some posh hot choc closer to the time. They weren't expensive and if I'm short of stocking presents they will be good for filling that up.
