Smaller gifts for teens

I'm usually the sort of Christmas prepper who buys gifts throughout the year to put away for Christmas, and with a few other things that have been going on I'm only just starting to think about my stash now.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for small or medium gifts for teens? My dds will be 15 and 13 at Christmas, and will likely get phones as a main gift, but I'd like to start collecting some other surprises for under the tree!

Has anyone got any ideas I can steal?

bluetooth speaker or Amazon Echo (or equivalent)
extra phone charger cables and battery pack

All of this but depending what they’re into:-

stationery items like scented erasers, themed post it notes (Pusheen, Pokemon whatever they’re into), postcards with stamps, any extra accessories you’d find in H&M and Sostrene Green, hair accessories, room accessories, electrical/headphone accessories.

Christmas themed or plain or sparkle socks and knickers. Again H&M, Victoria’s Secret, any teen shop with lingerie range. Maybe Oysho/Calzedonia/Intimissi lingerie (is that too mature?) - sparkle/glitter tights from there anyway or those tights which have suspenders attached if that’s their thing.

hot chocolate/lattte etc sachets/packs/kit maybe with mug (you can personalise mug with name or photo)

chocolate or sweets, novelty Christmas.

Depends if they like expensive brands too.

Thanks for the ideas! I guess I'm thinking items under £50 that I can buy without it massively impacting our month budget (obviously less is better!) and build up a stash of.

Charger wires and make up brushes are both excellent ideas! Going to look for those now!

Luckily they aren't hugely into brands.

Dd1 likes gothy make-up, alternative music, and anime.

Dd2 likes crafts, animals and cheerful cottagecore accessories.

Both of them love stationary (who doesn't?).

Sostrene Green is a good shout, maybe I need a little trip? One of their favourite shops!

If they're getting phones, I'd definitely suggest a battery pack. I have an anker one that, though it only charges my phone about 60%, is fantastic. It doesn't have a cable that will get lost/damaged either. Perfect for an emergency. I managed to get on tiktok shop for less than £7!

I can also personally recommend a ninja thirsti. It's an insulated drinks bottle that can hold carbonated drinks as well as still. Also got mine on tiktok shop for under £10. It's been a life saver the last few days while I'm working!

My 20 year old will be getting both.

I bought my DD a photo album, black square with black pages and a note saying I would print off 20 photographs of her choosing. She loved it. Worked so well I also did for for DH's niece and goddaughter

For the gothy dd may I suggest a perfume site called cursed fragrances. They do everything from small sample bundles to try out their different fragrances to bigger bottles. And if she's into the band black veil brides they have a collab atm so that would be pretty unique and fun perfume to have.

If you know which phones they are going to get, you can go with the phone cases or accessories like stickers, ring lights, phone stands, etc
Tech stuff like portable chargers always go down well
Favorite snacks, could be snack subscription boxes
Makeup products or gift cards to store(s) they like
If there are any artists they like, you can get something related to them, like stickers, poster calendars, t-shirts with their album covers/logos, etc.

I love Sostrene Green.

Waterstones is my go to for smaller stocking gifts. Those funny little boxes, small books, pens, bookmarks, small games, all sorts of lovely things.
Jellycat keyrings. Sweet gifts. Socks. Things from Lisa Angel (who have an online clearance page).

You are making me feel like getting into the spirit now!
I already have an excellent stash for extended family but not yet for the teen or the tween.
I do have a jellyfish light for the tween.

Talking of Lisa Angel, watch out for their sale/clearance pages. One year for 3 teenage girls (sisters) I knew I bought them each a small unicorn ring stand and a different necklace each. All their style. They loved it. They have a sale page now.
