Winter log cabin breaks in December with a toddler, any recommendations?

It feels incredibly wrong to be writing a Christmas post in May but here we are!

UK mums. I’m looking at booking a couple days away with my partner and 2 year old for Christmas this year because I found last year so overwhelming (and underwhelming at the same time if that can be possible??)

I’m wondering if anyone has gone away to a log cabin with their toddler in winter and whether they might recommend?

I’m not looking at booking actual Christmas away, just 2 nights in December.

Open to locations!
Thank you 🤍

How far would you be willing to travel?

there are a few really lovely ones in Scotland, but that might be far if you are South East

My friends had a lovely time at Keilder forest, complete with hot tub.

Bluestone, Pembrokeshire.
Lots of lovely Christmas events on, staff excellent, nice quiet Pembrokeshire towns if you want to wander.
