‘My Really Real Puppy’ - picked by Gdd nearly 6, out of the Argos catalogue.
She said it was her best present!

8 yo DS has been kept occupied for hours with some complicated game involving slime and drowning Lego mini figures in said slime. The slime set was a gift from BIL and it's definitely been his favourite thing, Lego figures were in his stocking from us, the game is of his own devising.

DGS almost 4 loved his dinosaur egg which hatches. The baby dinosaur does lots of different things and has been a big hit

An electronic game called 'Bop It' (a fast reaction type game) which was a last minute impulse purchase has been suprisingly popular.
The whole family keep trying to beat the top score (currently held by 12 year old DD). It's barely been put down since it was opened.

My 3.5 year old got a Whack-A-Mole game from Aldi. It's been a hit with everyone. Me, my husband and son have enjoyed it. We also had guests over today and another 2 adults and 2 children all enjoyed having a go too!

Eldest has played many, many rounds of mousetrap. Youngest has spent the last 4 days dressed in a police officer costume.

Blokus the board game has been a big hit here. Also the basketball net and ball that’s currently set up in the kitchen!

Ds7 favourite thing has been an MP3 player and headphones - no ability to download apps and games as we've blocked that, he just loves listening to his music.

Other big hits have been gravitrax (he used some money we got to buy an expansion pack which is enough route), slime, colour changing pens and books (2 of which he's already read)
