I always struggle for ideas for stockings now my children are older and preteens so thought it would be helpful if people could share items that were a hit this year.

For my kids:
Eugy models
Touch screen gloves
Duck vending machine

Sleep spray and drum kit especially!

Would they not cancel each other out?!

A set of pretty chopsticks. Very very exciting gift apparently 😄

not a teen anymore son - capybara night light (bought as joke), lactose free chai latte tea bags, vegan Nutella.
eldest- Chinese chilli flakes in oil, one with and one without peanuts.
youngest - mayonnaise (branded!) and pistachio paste/spread stuff.

DS12
USB rechargeable head torch
mini disco ball
book of tantrum vouchers (from Not on the High Street)

Hits have been hismile toothpaste, lip scrubs and brushes, curly girl hair set, fahlo bracelets, fancy peanut butter and jam for dd2 and chocolate caramel spread for dd1.

Novelty cat's legs socks that look just like our cat's (stripy) legs for DS2. Look great with the black Nike joggers he also got...
Folding laundry bag with a map of the world design for DS1 (at uni). I thought it was a lot smaller than expected but he loved it.

DD (3) loved a flashing watch from smiggle, Disney Princess lip balm, choc coins (thanks to the local farm shop for rescuing us with dairy free choc coins) and a harmonica.

Not stocking fillers but could have been in price and size: wind up chattering teeth (were the hit of the day!), a dolls wheelchair brought from a charity shop for 50p and an apron with ‘grandmas little helper’ on- also brought from a charity shop!

DS 13 loved:

Toast'd marshmallow kit
Bubble tea kit from the tea shed
Diy build your own wooden safe
'Survival' powerbank, has a very bright torch that also flashed sos
A basketball parcel that we filled with grip spray, and other basketball related things.
Fragrance- penguin body sprays and versace blue jeans
Hot chip challenge
Matcha tea

Be careful with the penguin body sprays, I bought those last year and they stung.

My eldest son was made up with his mens nail Mani kit! Of all the things, he sat at 7am cutting his nails

We are a family of 4, two teen daughters. Our success was spreading out the stocking duty. Parents provided £40 per stock budget. Each of us was responsible for one stocking. Older teen DD organised younger teen DD's stocking (she loved doing it, and younger DD very happy to have her ideas). I did older teen DD (she was happy with this - she gave me some suggestions of what she'd like.). Younger teen DD did DP/step dad. And DP did me.

DS13's favourites were:

Pokemon cards (booster packs)
A 3m charger cable
A map showing all the UK's funniest place names

Oh this is a cool idea and one I will partially adopt next year LO is only 3 lol and some others in the family might get stresssed by it lol in fact only one of my step daughters will enjoy but she’s great with ideas and organisation so will just get her to help in general lol

Surprising hit for my dc was the mini Henry Hoovers for cleaning laptops.
They were on offer, so I got them cheap, but they all liked them.
