Stocking filler successes

I always struggle for ideas for stockings now my children are older and preteens so thought it would be helpful if people could share items that were a hit this year.

For my kids:
Eugy models
Touch screen gloves
Duck vending machine

Nespresso glass mugs for grown up DC.

Sleep pillow mist spray.

Mini thermal printer so you can print out crap resolution photos from your mobile but also make lists and notes and various things and print them onto stickers. Last minute Temu purchase but loved by 15 and 18 year olds.

Monogrammed wash bag filled with their favourite products! These went down so well. The washbag was great quality actually for an Amazon find and yeah 18yr old DS loved it.

Hey Dude slippers and alpaca wool socks also seemed to be a hit.

Chocolate coins, Yoto cards and juggling balls.

Chill factor slushy cups. Under £10, nice and large wrapped up and actually work!! All kids enjoying a DIY slushy today.

Dd2 loved a magnetic block fidget spinner thing I got last minute on Amazon. She’s hardy touched her other gifts as she has flu but hasn’t put the fidget spinner down.

Reading and saving for next year !!

For Adult DH: A card game, Christmas socks, mini chocolate pints of Guinness, a fancy jar of marmalade, locally made biltong, chocolate coins.

The biggest hits in mine (DH is still learning about what makes a good stocking) was a Lego keyring and some F&M chocolate hedgehogs.

Bath and bodyworks hand sanitisers were a big hit with my girls!

My golfer DS(17) loved a few of his golf themed things…

DD8: scratch and sniff stickers, moldable foam soap, a tiny chocolate which fit her teddy’s stocking.

I much prefer trying to find stocking gifts than the main present.

I buy the same things every year and they love it all! Gloves, socks, sweets, booze ( they are adults) phone cases and AirPod cases and this year a small piece of jewellery

3 ds’s aged 16, 14, 10.
stockings are now full of edible goodies (sweets, chocolates, cans of pop, chewing gum etc), gift cards to Greggs, google play, steam etc, and random tech such as new charging cables, cheap wireless earphones, small powerbanks etc. oh and socks. It’s not Christmas without new socks right?
