I am currently sat downstairs eating celebrations and watching tv after putting hot chocolate ingredients in the slow cooker 😁

I have a 4 year old and a partner but they’re still in bed πŸ˜‚ He’s never been an early riser so it’s much better for everyone to let him sleep until he wakes up and then we can have a nice, relaxing day of presents, buffet food, playing games and watching tv/movies πŸ₯°

Sounds lovely! We were up at 7 to open presents, the kids all had breakfast and now my eldest is having a nap πŸ˜… I plan on a short one this afternoon on the settee while my youngest plays with his toys. It’s just me and the kids and I love it!

Ah sounds lovely! Its a relaxing start here too. Kids up at 7ish, stocking, then leisurely coffee and breakfast (chocolates!) Then Santa presents , showers etc. Kids playing, DH sorting Xbox game & I'm relaxing! Just us today. Turkey already cooked!

Aww sounds bliss 😊 Slow one here too. I was up at about 7:30am with a cup of coffee and the christmas lights πŸŽ„β˜•οΈ Ds1 came home after a night out and was up at 7:40am lol OH and ds2 got up at 9am with the cat lol. Opened presents, they had chocolate for breakfast (I don't eat breakfast so another coffee for me lol). We had christmas dinner yesterday, so dinner is crackers, cheese, salami and Spanish ham. Then pizzas for tea 😊 Lots of music and films and will crack open some more bucks fizz and baileys later 😁 Merry Christmas everyone πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

I could hear our youngest opening her stocking at 6.40am, I got up at 6.50am and fed the cats and got a drink. Everyone else got up and we opened our presents. DH went to parkrun and our eldest went back to bed. Middle child wanted a bacon baguette. DH is now asleep and I’m sorting out Christmas dinner.

It's a low-effort one for me too this year, just me and DH. We've had lunch of posh crackers with cream cheese and smoked salmon, and we've got a frozen venison joint to cook later, with ready made gravy, broccoli and new potatoes. I've lost count of how many years I've cooked a full on Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, for the whole family, so it's really nice this year just to be lazing on the sofa without half an eye on the clock for timings and a mound of washing up to be done.
