Dh is here but is on his PC . It is a hobby based one and he is a bit addicted to it , it's in another room so I'm often " alone " and it seems today will be no different .
Having said that I realise the same could be said for me on here !

I am by choice. I can't do anything. Im so exhausted with working full time. I just want to read quietly at home and be left alone.
Im perfectly happy with my choice.
I .ight do some weeding in the garden later, its sunny.

I’m alone as in I’m the only adult. I enjoy the slower pace of day, eat and drink what I want when I want, watch some rubbish on telly and maybe a takeaway later!

Im on my own and love it.
I woke up about 15 minutes ago.
Now having coffee.

I am on my own. No family, no partner, no kids!

Me - however my Mum did come round for a visit this morning so we could exchange gifts. She surprised me with the games console I'd been desperate for so I'm going to have fun setting that up after dinner 😁

Spend the day alone mostly by choice, looking forward to eating lots of nice food and being able to do whatever I want 😊Hope everyone on this thread has a lovely solo Christmas even if it wasn't necessarily your first choice!

I hope you manage to find some joy. I am not alone but have 2 grown up children with me and who have barely spoken to me. I declined an invitation to spend Christmas with family as they did not want to travel. I am feeling really sorry for myself too.

It's great isn't it . I reckon he's spent less than 3 hours with me and that includes eating his dinner .
He's still there now.
