i could buy one on boxing day or at the weekend.

Tesco do a great one in a black and red box with a picture of a 50’s type woman on it.

We have really enjoyed the Limoncello one from Waitrose

There is no such thing as a great panattone

that sounds delicious

It was ~ we have a 2nd one saved for New Year. There's a sachet on icing sugar inside the box and a stencil of a star so you can decorate it just before serving. Really lovely . . . would highly recommend. A nice change from all the chocolate items!
