My two decided they no longer liked one make of food the day after both DH and I bought a case each from Amazon. Serves us right for not consulting the girls first.

Exactly! You buy in bulk, but never let the cats see that you have it.. I would also never ask, or expect dh to buy their food .. There are things that are important , I take care of them .. we can handle running out of milk and bread, but the male brain does not do cat food ( or fecking feeding them when you’re late home from work ,)

At the very least, they can have his Christmas dinner.

Cats love turkey! Or goose, duck, chicken, beef, etc, if you are short of cat food, getting them to eat the cat food again can be a problem though.

The anxiety lasted about as long as it took for me to instruct him in a forthright manner to get himself down the shop sharpish and buy some! 😄

I always shove a couple of emergency boxes in the online shopping delivery even though DH normally buys the cat food (we have two). I get panicky when we get low. Though one of ours will eat lettuce and broccoli and the other loves cheese so I doubt they’d starve for one day!

I’d never have thought a cat would like broccoli! Ours seems to go mad when one of us eats an apple though, very odd!

Our rescue cat ate a piece of broccoli the kids had dropped. Poor thing didn't know she'd always been fed from now on.

We have a cat who fights my DH for watermelon.

And another who we can only get her medication down her if we give her a chilli flavoured dorito afterwards.

Give them his Christmas dinner.

Ive got plenty but Fattyboomboom has got on strike as he can see turkey ham and pigs which should rightfully be his.

I’ve got two cats. One is still riding high on his upf advent calendars and dreamies and won’t eat his cat food, the other will
now only accept pigs in blankets or roast porchetta. So you can have some of ours.
