Can't believe Iv forgot about it and have no 'box' prepared Iv bought new pjs, few sweets, any last minute ideas would be fab we are out tomorrow afternoon so I can nip out first thing and leave it from the 'elves' for our return ... I feel bloody awful I'm usually such an ott mum so to forget about it has made me really upset😭

Do you have a cardboard box laying around? You could wrap it up with wrapping paper (if you have enough of it left, that is.)

WhamBamThankU · 24/12/2025 01:33

Do you need to do it?

It isn't too late, there is still time to put one together. Don't berate yourself, there is a lot to remember at this time of year and your little one(s) will have lots of magic anyway. We usually pop new PJs, some reindeer food, a new Xmas decoration to add to the tree/small toy, things for hot chocolate (a sachet, mini marshmallows, a Christmassy cup) and a small Lindt style Father Christmas/reindeer or similar. I jazz it up with mini Xmas lights.

My Xmas eve ‘box’ consisted of new pjs some years ago blanket too and was given in a gift bag. You don’t need a gift bag/box just give the new pjs as they are!

I used a bag for life for ours!
(Admittedly my "children " are 21, 20 and 18, so the magic will not be lost!)
Its easier on the elves if its in a bag...

wrap it up and call it Christmas pack.
