Has anyone seen any satsumas?

Not easy peelers/Clementines or any other tough horrible imitation.

Christmas isn't Christmas without satsumas.

Not for 2 weeks in East Anglia..went looking today and couldn't find any. Last hope is the farm shop tomorrow when collecting the turkey.
Everywhere seems to be sold out

Yes! Waitrose and Sainsbury’s had them. Ironically I was looking for clementines, which I couldn't find.

M&S had them. Sainsbury’s let me down.

Not me. I had a right old rant about fucking easy peelers the other day. A bloke laughed. They're not easy to peel!

Where are all the satsumas?!!

Not for weeks

I got some in Sainsbury's a couple of hours ago. I had to fight my way past the 'easy peelers' piled at the ends of the aisle, over to the oranges, though, they were next to them.

@BIWI I was drowning in Clementines, what a shame we couldn't swap.

Not a single satsuma this year!

Yes! There was one pack left in Waitrose yesterday! Had to read the label twice to make sure. None in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons or Lidl. Just fucking easy peelers with at least 2 squashed ones per pack. What’s Christmas coming to?

I’ve seen some around Sainsbury’s.
a green grocer misold me some fucking clementines saying they were satsumas and I knew they weren’t. Feel like suing the lying fucker.

We had a couple of nets a few weeks ago from Sainsbury - but now we want more for Christmas - there are none to be found. I agree the easy peelers and clementines are just not the same.

I love a Christmas satsuma..

I’ve had this exact conversation about two weeks ago and then miraculously Waitrose got them in AND Asda sent them with the online shop despite only sending the horrible other type the previous few weeks.

Satsumas are my absolutely favourite thing at Christmas and I’m now down to about 6 and will have to go out again tomorrow to get more 😢 I may hide the ones I have left so no one else can eat them - that’s how much I love them.

I’ve just googled and found this:

I’ve just googled to see if there’s any in stock in my local Waitrose as I’m starting to panic now 😂 it says there are and they’re open at 8am so I’m setting my alarm!

I saw a variety called clemenules in m&s today.
