I wanted M&S merry munch, I would have taken any of the options, even the refill bag. Never seen it in the wild.

I didn't buy any here as its €15 this year. How much is it in the UK?

The tin I bought was £10, refill bag £7.

We've got a tin as a present from family!

I run a food bank - we received 112 of them this morning! Will have some very happy customers tomorrow. It really made us all smile.

I love this 😍 Our M&S is really good at supporting the local community. So much goes to the community fridge and food bank.

I got one on my Ocado shop about a month ago. Looking forward to trying it as I’m adding to the Christmas Eve box.

I have no idea how M&S do their stock planning/decisions. Between a superstore, two food halls, a train station and a hospital we have 5 locally - Merry Munch is available at the train station and one food hall but not the other. The 'big mix' chocolate tin is nowhere to be seen and hasn't been since they got any Christmas stock in. Peppermint bark though, which I've seen other people saying they can't find anywhere, is in all 5 stores. Utterly bewildering.

Fairyvocals · 23/12/2025 16:35

We’ve had two tins of the peanut butter one and one of the jelly, which was much too sweet. The PB is far nicer, IMO. Haven’t tried the basic version.

Gowlett · 23/12/2025 16:38

I had the original one, still have the tin & refill it.
Might try the ALDI version, or M&S if I see one!

I was obsessed with last year’s M&S Sugar and Spice Munch mix. Gutted they didn’t sell it again this year. I nearly wrote to their head office to beg for it to return to stores and preferably all year round!

I've got a tin and a refill bag because of all the hype, I have been underwhelmed by it. Their Big Mix tin however was great, better than Quality Streets!

I agree about the Big Mix.

I have to admit I had the jelly munch and i was quite disappointed.

ChubbyPuffling · 23/12/2025 17:21

We had the pb and j one recently, was lovely, a bit pretzel heavy, but lovely.
The big mix is not going to be finished, nowhere near as nice as quality street in my opinion, just chocolate wrapped, sweet as heck, gooo

WonderfulSmith · 23/12/2025 17:29

I did have the jelly and peanut butter ones in my Ocado order but I dropped the jelly one. M&S had loads in store last week. I got a tin of big mix too. I’ve hidden them both from DH by putting them slightly below his eyeline.

storminabuttercup · 24/12/2025 22:37

I’ve had the one they did last year plus the peanut butter one
both disappointing and had lots of filler stuff
get a nice tin, get things like the chocolate covered pretzels, the red and black M&S jellies, Reese’s peanut butter cups, then stuff like minstrels, jelly beans, those caramac buttons, crunchie clusters. Mix it all up
lb for £ it’s cheaper
