When would you take this out the freezer?

We have a frozen duck stuffed with turkey stuffed with guinea fowl stuffed with stuffing for Christmas lunch this year. We’ve had it before but I can’t remember for the life of me when I took it out the freezer. It weighs 3kg and most guides say to leave 10-12 hours per kg but because it’s so…stuffed…maybe it needs longer than that? I’ll be cooking it on Christmas morning so should I give it 48 hours in the fridge? Or should I take it out tonight and give it even longer? Advice gratefully received!!

I would take it out tonight.

Not worth risking getting ill. I'd take it out now.

Thanks both - I’ve followed your advice and taken it out now. I seem to remember a lot of panic last year over whether it had actually defrosted or not and I’d rather not have that again!

My 2 turkey crowns were taken out of the freezer an hour or so ago. They are in the greenhouse in a plastic lidded box. Im praying that there isn't a mini heatwave over the next 24 hours!
