Hi, I don't eat meat but I'm having a guest on Christmas Day for dinner who does. I've bought these pigs in blankets and this chicken. I have put both of them in the freezer. Am I right in thiinking I need to get them out 24 hours before cooking and left in the fridge to defrost? I don't want to give anyone food posioning!

Yes, take out of the freezer and put in the fridge 24 hrs before you want to cook them.

Yes you are doing the right thing. Leave for 24hrs in the fridge then cook. You might want to do the pigs in blankets in the air fryer because they come out really well.

Thank you both, I really appreciated your replies. Merry Christmas! 🎅

It does vary, so please check the label, as sometimes these things can be cooked from frozen. Sorry if that sounds patronising, but I've been surprised by labels/storage and cooking times myself-my mum once refused to believe we could cook a specific dish from frozen.
