My son is 13 and 6 foot 2, we’ve bought him hoodies for things he likes such as D&D and War Hammer, is he into anything like that?
definitely go for large adult hoodie, doesnt matter it’s big and baggy

Asda 80% cotton zipped ones in a large are pretty good size wise.
Also AWDis are good sizing. Ds is 6ft 2in & these fit him fine.

My son is a skinny 6ft 2 and is a men's large if that helps.

Can't really go wrong with Nike, either the 'club' or 'foundation' styles might fall within your budget.
Gym shark and under armour could work too.

Hollister - men’s L.

MayaPinion · 18/12/2025 03:26

Hollister do great hoodies.

My kids have all liked marine conservation's rocktopuss hoodies.

The clothes from Castore are lovely quality and my 14 year old really likes them. He's got a number of hoodies from them and particularly likes the ones which have a slightly fluffy lining. Inoffensive colour options and wash and wear really well. Not cheap but often have sales on so you are likely to get something within your budget.

My 5’11” slim build 15 year old likes the Zara hoodies: men’s small size fit him well. I think they’re £32.99. He specifically wanted one completely plain.

Thanks all these are helpful also for my DS who is younger and not nearly so tall!

Boohoo Men’s also have a Tall range, got a few nice things for DS there too

Sports Direct have a good selection. I would go for size large. Nike will go down well.

Thanks again all , a new question how popular is Castore ? My DS is after Nike tech for Christmas but am looking at these as an additional option .

How big is the logo?

My DS used to have a lot of Castore stuff, because they used to make the Newcastle United kit.

Castore is very much Marmite, and has strong association with Rangers football club. Personally I would avoid it.

If he wants Nike tech, get him the Nike tech, nothing is really comparable. Or if you can't afford it then tell him and ask him to pick something else.
