What’s the best men’s fragrance

My husband has asked for a new aftershave / fragrance. He usually wears sauvage or mont blanc explorer.

im thinking Chanel bleu de Chanel, but I haven’t smelt it. I’m going to look tomorrow but if anyone has any recommendations for the best smelling men’s fragrance that I can also try out then let me hear it! Please!

nothing overpowering or sickly. Something like sandalwood or something that smells fresh from the shower and clean.

Green Irish tweed is imo the best mens fragrance and fits your sandalwood / fresh fragrance. It is pricey but dh recently bought one of the “dupe” ones and it’s exactly the same as the real thing (for £200 less!)

Aramis, It is a classic. There are no dupes. Very rarely do you see it on discount.
It is subtle.
My Dad has been wearing it since he got married 50+years.
DH has it as well.
I have gone out wearing it.

Doesn't it depend on the man? I can't imagine a woman just liking a recommendation. It's so personal.
