Really trying to stave off the total screen addiction for a bit longer, but I am also stuck for ideas as I feel they basically have everything. All their wishes used to be Lego, but they now have pretty much what they want. I'd love for at least one of them to get into something new that can be social as well. They are not into football and we have oh so many games already. Ideally I would like something they can get really into. Maybe yoyoing or something like that. Help please!

Pokémon cards
Skateboard/roller skates
Science kits - the Galt and horrible science ones are great
Tennis racket and balls
Art supplies with a book on how to draw
Ukulele/guitar

More expensive than yoyoing, but our table tennis table was a successful joint Christmas present one year. If they are more craft/imaginary world orientated then Warhammer is worth a look. Build and paint little models who are in tribes. You can play an actual game too, although mine don't bother with that bit.

What about the GoCube? It’s a rubix cube which connects to an app and teaches them how to speed solve it (I really want one)

If they like lego/building, have you looked at similar things? Magnatiles/click blocks/K'nex etc.

You could try a musical instrument - keyboard or guitar.

Something else outdoorsy? Football or rugby etc. Bike/scooter/rollerskates?

Ds3 is 8 and his main present is a Fitwatch and I've also got him Jo Wicks kids fitness book (he likes running, constantly asking me how far my Strava says we've walked when we're walking the dog etc).

Cooking equipment and a couple of recipe books? Cooking is a life skill so useful to them, and to you.
