I’ve got an Amazon gift card of £60 from someone to buy buy self something for christmas. FT working mum, two primary kids, 2 dogs (one of which is a puppy). DH also FT working - no time for anything much! age 41 soon.

I am not into jewellery or handbags.
I’m being given a Lands End squall coat by PILs, a foot massager by DH, and spring jacket by parents.

I have no time for a skincare routine - Asian genes, no smoking or drinking has kept skin okay and hair ungrayed so far but skin and hair feel abysmal.

in theory I love smellies/candles/essential oils and gardening. In theory. As see above ☝️ no time for anything.

and got to be Amazon !

ideas?

Will the giver want to know what you got? If not I’d be tempted to just add the card to amazon account and spend it on whatever you next need to get from there.

If they will want to know then some ideas are

Earbuds
a new cover for phone or tablet
Burts bees night lip mask
Massage gun (although may duplicate with dh gift)
Exercise gear - I like the IUGA leggings on amazon and the CRZ Yoga vests.
Some kitchen gadget eg stick blender, microwave rice cooker etc

I’d be preloading my kindle!

or use the voucher for this you need to buy and treat yourself to a facial and hair treatment!

Ooh exercise vaguely reminds me that I need to lose some weight and do strength training type exercise as I cannot run owing to childhood patella issues

does that add a layer of stuff I could get to motivate me into action of some kind ?

I’d get a blu ray DVD and a couple of books. Maybe a hair oil, the Wella one is very good!

Do you already own a yoga mat?

And a weighted hula hoop (if your knee doesn’t prevent it)?

I’d buy books, but otherwise I might use the voucher for household necessities and buy myself something luxurious elsewhere.

Absolutely, you could get some starter weights (say 3-4kg) and use with YouTube strength videos

Or put it towards a set of adjustable weights but these are more pricey
