Can anyone recommend me a fizzy drinks maker like a sodastream.

Looking to buy a sodastream as a gift but just wondered if there were any cheaper makes that are just as good.

I looked around but ended up with a soda stream, the other brands had much smaller distribution networks for the gas. I’ve got it set up on 4 bottles 6 monthly for £40 ( £10 / bottle) I normally finish a bottle / month but I can order early if I need to.

Thank you I guess it's a sodastream then.

Drinkmate, they use soda stream canisters and can fizz anything not just water - got one for my birthday a few years ago and wouldn't be without it!

Asking for a friend…. Could you fizz wine in it?

Heston Blumenthal did a trial a few years back running Blue Nun through a soda stream...you can find it on YouTube!
