What are you doing over the next two weeks?

What plans do you have over the next two weeks for Christmas? I need inspiration ☺️

Working hard on handover tasks and retiring.

Absolutely sod all!

Nothing exciting. I don't consider myself to be Christian so our celebration is very low key. Finish work on the 19th, roast dinner on 25th (with presents), then back to work on 5th.

Try to avoid getting a cold, flu or anything else going around

Christmas fair after school tomorrow & Father Christmas (Rotary club) will be visiting our estate one evening on his sleigh.
Parents coming to stay for weekend so need to finish cleaning etc and get shopping in. Will exchange Xmas gifts etc as we’re not seeing them again before Xmas. In-laws will also pop round to see parents.
School Nativity on Tuesday & we all break up from school / work next Friday. Need to finish Xmas shopping. It’s my birthday on Xmas Eve & in-laws coming for lunch on Xmas Day.

My DD is coming back from uni this weekend! Tree is up and decorated (angel MIA - I know where she is, my storage unit, but not exactly where). Crèche out, mantle prettified etc etc. Presents bought except the ones I have to make (I crochet and both kids are getting something if I get down to it properly). Food ordered…
What do we plan to do? Nothing! She has a driving test early January so a number of lessons have been booked. My son lives away and is working through Christmas Eve, so between this weekend and then my DD and I will just chill and watch Christmas movies. She’s doing the Christmas dinner (she’s discovered her culinary talents while away). It will be fabulous. Between now and this weekend I have to return the empty decoration boxes to storage, search party for angel, clean the house and make sure her room is all set up and cosy and get her favourite foods in.
