Tom Kerridge Christmas Cheesecake

Has anybody made this? Thinking of alternative desserts.

Not this recipe, but I'd intended to make a cheesecake for after Sunday lunch and could not believe the costs of all the ingredients. It would have cost over £30! I am probably a tight wad, but that seemed ridiculous for a pudding. I made trifle instead.

Tom's recipe looks as though it would be at least as expensive.
Sorry, I know this isn't the point of your thread, but I needed to whinge.

To be honest, that Tom Kerridge recipe doesn't look very appetising. Too fussy and rich. Doubt it would be to everyone's taste.

I love the nigella white chocolate one - and its not overly expensive to make @SeaAndStars

Pack of digestives
Butter - already always have in
a lemon
2 packs full fat cream cheese
large tub double cream or 2 smaller ones
2 bars white chocolate

get all from Lidl for under £10

So kind of you to post the recipe up @QforCucumber . I will make that for Christmas.

I actually get red smarties, icing eyes and pretzels and make it look like little reindeer slices ha! its out Xmas tradition dessert now, like this!
