What have you bought for the kids?

I had a quick search but couldn’t find a thread from this year! I always enjoy reading these to get ideas for the future - and also because I’m nosy 😅

All three of mine have the standard stocking bits, chocolate, the girls have lip balms, cheap jewellery, pimple patches, hair accessories, stationery etc. and small boy has guujitsu, cars, Minecraft stationery, stickers etc. Main presents bought from us and extended family that give us the cash to buy presents.

Newest Dog man, teddy (the best ever dinosaur- 6.99 and my ten year old had seen him and fallen in love!) @Jk987 shes almost 12 so in year 7 at school, and needs a phone as its a long walk to high school. That’s why the upgrade isn’t a ‘real’ gift I suppose, she had an old iPhone 12 and I got a free upgrade from my 15 pro max to the 17 pro max, which meant I had a ‘spare’ 15 lying around… because the screen was a bit bashed it would have only sold second hand for about £200 and I thought she’d get more use out of it and to futureproof having to buy another in a year or so.

Maybe I shouldn’t give it to her, I thought having a bigger screen for Roblox etc might be better!

@Clefable we've had the pig on a leash a couple of years back. It is pretty adorable! Not too annoying as it doesn’t ‘yip’ like the dog on a leash. This year my sister tells me she has a walking penguin for ds, I’m hoping it’s not obnoxious
