I want to get am animal tracking bracelet for my DM so she has a present to open on Christmas morning (her main present is something we've booked for the new year, which she knows about). Has anyone ordered one of these and have thoughts on which one is better?

I ordered a Fahlo one for adult DS a couple of years ago. It took
many weeks to arrive and the penguin it was allegedly tracking disappeared within days. They sent another (different) one after I complained and that failed. In short, I wouldn’t bother.

i got my DM a turtle Fahlo last year and it worked fine. Tracking lasted about 8 months.

I got my mum a Fahlo in April the tracker disappeared after about a month so they gave her another one and that one lasted about a week 🙄 just a waste of money

I'm pretty sure the fahlo one I've ordered this year isn't going to turn up in time for Christmas. It's still not been dispatched!

I've been waiting for 5 Fahlo ones since 25th Nov and they still haven't been dispatched, so don't use them if you want them before Christmas!

I ordered a Fahlo bracelet last week and it arrived yesterday. Looks fine, doesn’t come in a gift box or anything though. It’s literally just the bracelet loose in an envelope and card with a QR code for tracking.

I’m very unimpressed with Fahlo right now. I ordered on the 23rd of November, so two weeks ago, and it hasn’t yet been dispatched.
I emailed this morning to query it and got the reply below, which doesn’t confirm when it will be dispatched, and blames their warehouse delays on the postal services? 🤔
meanwhile they are spamming me with emails and offers to buy more bracelets!

ive requested a refund.

I know they are a legit company but this is terrible service.

Another one and the same position about Fahlo. And now I am in this position I do remember a lot of chat about the same thing last year. Their customer services emails read like cut and pasted AI, and any decent company would have put expected Christmas delivery timeframes on their website by now as they are well over 2 weeks behind their so called ‘expected’ shipping timeframes.

Yes the customer service is definitely automated, I replied to the email above at 8:04, and got this further response at 8:04.

i don’t mind automation as long as I get a resolution soon!

It’s all bull, I got the same set of messages trust me. I’ve checked back, it was two Christmases ago. I ordered it in plenty of time and it arrived on 9th Feb…

Mine still hasn’t arrived from fahlo, it’s a month since I ordered. I’ve requested a refund 3 times now and got automated responses saying ‘it’s a busy time, give it more time and then you can request a refund one day…’

do not order from fahlo!

Still not heard about mine either. Does say it was dispatched on 30th November but nothing updated since then

I ordered 5 tracking bracelets on Monday 24th November during the black Friday sale, took till Wednesday 3rd December to ship (they blamed the thanksgiving holidays) as of now, my stuff still hasn't arrived and when I emailed asking why the tracking info hasn't changed, they blamed the post for the delay, the tracking info says 'we're expecting it' so I'm fairly certain my package is still in their warehouse somewhere and they just haven't send it. Don't think I'll order again.

Same for Fahlo, dont bother!
I ordered for my kids last year, no problem. Ordered for BiL on 25th Nov. Allegedly dispatched but tracking says not received by royal mail. They are blaming delivery delays but I have had no issue with anything else I've bought online.
Crap automated customer service.
Would not order from them again!

In case anyone is brought to this thread later. - my mum ordered at Fahlo soft toy plus tra let for my kid. Ordered late Nov and was delivered to me less than a week later. Looks really nice quality and a lovely soft toy (sloth)

I ordered two last year: elephant and wolf, mid-November. Package got to Madrid (I'm in Barcelona), by 7th December then just sat there. I complained. They sent another 2 which arrived early January 'cos it was so close to Christmas by then, I didn't expect them to arrive in time.

Mid-Feb the original two appeared!! No extra cost.
So I gave the first two received as gifts, kept the second two for me and DS.

My elephant tracker fell off, so they switched me to a different elephant. After 3 months, the tracker was back on my original elephant - now I'm following two! On the same app.

No one else has had a problem with their trackers and we're still very happily watching our animals and reading up about them. So I'd efinitely buy them again, but in early October for Xmas.

Just an update, my bracelets arrived today, I ordered them Nov 24th they were apparently dispatched on Dec 3rd, Royal mail tracking says it received them on Dec 12th, so no idea where they were between the 3rd and 12th, all the trackers work for now and the bracelets are very pretty, not exactly the same colour as the website pictures but not far off.
