Hello
I’m planning to make chocolate honeycomb, I’m going to make some candied nuts for some of the blokes and I’ve bought a chocolate bar mould to make sweetie embellished bars for the kids.

What are you planning? Looking for a few more ideas that can ideally be made in advance and are cheap but can look fancy. Maybe some savoury stuff?

(If the very idea of home made food gifts makes you wanna vom please don’t feel obliged to join in)

TIA 🎅

Hot chocolate powder, very cute in a pretty jar and cheap to make.

None -I would immediately bin anything home made as have no idea of the cleanliness of the kitchen it was made in -makes me feel sick just thinking about it

I like to receive Marmalade, Redcurrant Jelly or Cranberry Sauce and good Jam.

Chocolate is really tough to do well, and good chocolate is expensive at the moment.

I’ve made homemade liqueurs like sloe gin and raspberry gin as well as rhubarb vodka.

Obviously I ensure that the bottles are filthy and I don’t wash my hands or the fruit and make sure that I lick the top of the bottle…especially for @Teacupover5 The OP did suggest this thread wouldn’t appeal to all.
