Best presents for 11 year old boy and 7 year old girl

I don't have kids, and at 39, I'm way out of the loop on what kids at specific ages want.

We have a Christmas charity initiative at work, for kidsout.org.uk, where you can buy presents for kids who have had to escape domestic abuse and are living in refuge and who typically get very little or nothing for xmas 😢

I've got a few to buy, and I earn decent money and so am in a position to get something nice for them, but I have no idea what the most popular options are that all the kids like at the moment.

There is an 11 year old boy who wants a backpack (when I was 11 it was Eastpak or Janssport, but no idea what kids like now).

And also a 7 year old girl who has asked for a board game - is there one that stands out as kids being a big fan of atm?

Board game - labyrinth is great

Backpack I think Nike is the most popular one that I see.

Backpack would be Nike or possibly montirex (in brand at the moment at least where I am). JD sports usually have a good selection.

Board games my 7 year old likes - Blokus, ticket to ride, junior articulate, junior colour brain, bugs in the kitchen and 5 second rule. She also LOVED whoopee doo (because it has a whoopee cushion) but it didn’t last long!
