He’s only got 3 so far (2 items of clothes and a book) and his sister has quite a few more. It’s going to look unbalanced so I really need a few ideas if possible? He likes the gym and gaming but doesn’t need anything for them and he’s at college but doesn’t need anything there either. Really stuck. He doesn’t know what he wants either!

Boys are so hard to by for my teenage girls so so easy. So I’ve an 18 year old boy and only thing he has asked for is diesel….nope not the clothing etc brand…..actual fuel for his car 😂 (think adulthood and running his own car is more expensive than he thought 😂). This year I’ve bought him some clothes, Calvin Klein boxers, aftershave, a new watch and also a double bed and new mattress. (Sounds like I’ve spent a lot but the actual bed frame my cousin has given it to us, and it’s top quality). But my idea behind it was one day he will hopefully move out so he had a double bed and good quality mattress to take with him 🙈😂 but think moving out will be a long way off.

Maybe a nice watch? I did get my son one last year and he loved it more than I thought he would, it wasn’t a good make mainly cos I thought he wouldn’t wear one as hadn’t wore one before but I found out he has been wearing it still for past few months despite the battery being dead 😂

oh and last year I bought him a really nice leather wallet again something I thought he wouldn’t actually appreciate it was just to add to his pile but he again loves it xx

A personalised wooden box for his guitar piks with his name on.
Nip and Fab face wash
Tiger balm
PJ bottoms

ChristmasMantleStatue · 04/12/2025 12:50

Also bought him some Gucci aftershave as loves a brand.

Pinkflower100 · 04/12/2025 13:02

Thanks guys. I’ve now ordered some post gym shower gels, protein powders and an aftershave. Thinking about a massage gun but don’t want to buy for the sake of it. It’s still quite uneven but if I have to I will take some of my daughters away and give it to her for her birthday a week after Xmas 😬🤣.

Driving lessons are a possibility but he doesn’t turn 17 until 2nd April so it is a long wait. Was thinking of them for his birthday but having seen the cost of them perhaps a lessson for Xmas would be good too.

Having pinched most of mine, DS (17) is getting a 50ml bottle of Jo Malone pomegranate noir.

massage gun is a great idea, this one's nice and compact and doesn't cost a fortune HoMedics NOVO Mini Massage Gun - Heated Electric Handheld Massagers with 4 Attachments & 6 Intensity Settings, Deep Tissue Vibrating Massager for Discomfort Ease, Percussion Massage - Black : Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care
The teens round here had luggage for their independent travels and ready for heading to uni.

Thank you! I think I’ll get that! My son isn’t going to uni as he’s learning a trade but would have been a good idea if he was!

Mines so hard to buy for, he loves unwrapping presents at xmas but hes one of these men that could live in an empty room quite happily, he just doesn't actually want or need anything.

Got some aftershave, merch his favorite sports team, some sports equipment, new bedding, merch his favorite musician, a book and silly little things like funny socks, bags of chocolate etc...

All feels quite boring really.

Itsnotallaboutyoulikeyouthink · 04/12/2025 16:28

Does it really need to look balanced at the age of 17. My sons hasn’t looked balanced he was about 14.

Hoppinggreen · 04/12/2025 16:30

Mine is getting
Cinema vouchers (think there is a girl on the horizon)
T shirt of a brand he likes
New gaming chair
new computer mouse
replica katana

Whichone2024 · 04/12/2025 19:06

Mini fridge for his bedroom - filled with his favourite protein shakes and bars!

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 04/12/2025 21:11

Ds2 has turned 16 in July. He is 6ft 4, 20 stone solid rugby player, because of his size we struggle with clothing for him.

We’ve got him

North face fleece x 2
North face combats/trousers x 3
North face T-shirts x 4
Artic Army hat
Ami Paris sweatshirt.
Fear of god essentials hoody

We’ve essentially got him a full new wardrobe of clothing from Tog24, there sizing, style and fit of clothes, for him well, they had amazing deals on their Black Friday event.

Gymshark training clothes (shorts, T shirts, pants etc) he trains/plays 11 x a week, so these are very much needed.

Rugby boots, studs and blades.

Gilbert tackle bag.

Professional mouth guard (fancy design one instead of standard guard)

Trainers , Nike, Mallet and Dsqaured2.
Boots - Timberlands.

Magic weekend tickets plus hotel stay, Wigan top.

Stocking
Harry’s shavers and razors
Harry’s complete skin care range (7 product's)
Starbucks voucher
Greggs voucher
Vue Voucher
burts bee lip care
socks
boxers
my protein voucher
deodorant
bath and body works shower gel
rubix cube
travelling games (uno, battleships, connect4)
Stanley cup x 2 (cold and hot cups)
Dairy free chocolates.

You could make up a book with different gift vouchers in - don’t have to be for big amounts - eg gaming, coffee shop, book shop, toiletries, cinema etc. Essentially it’s money but is something to open and feels more thoughtful

Kiddislave · 17/12/2025 10:08

Something from Urban Outfitters or vouchers. That's all my teens want.

Kiddislave · 17/12/2025 10:22
