Hello.

Has anyone been to this at Parker’s Piece? We were hoping to visit this Thursday but unsure if it’s worth the 120 mile round trip?

Would love to hear your views please?

TIA

Don’t bother, it’s a complete waste of time. My U3A group visited last week and were very disappointed.
There are only a few stalls selling Christmas goods. The rest of it is food and drink, an ice rink etc.
In my opinion it is a very poor version of a winter wonderland rather than a Christmas market.

I wouldn't bother - I had to go to Cambridge for DS and visited Parker's Piece at the same time and I certainly wouldn't be doing a 120 mile round trip for it! Thankfully the market wasn't the reason I made the trip! It's ok in that there is a Christmas related things there - but very underwhelming!

Thanks both.

That’ll save me a few quid in fuel then! By the sounds of it my local garden centre will have more Christmassy things!

If you were coming for something other than this, I’d say visit as Cambridge is a beautiful city but for the stuff on Parker’s piece, I really wouldn’t waste your time.
