if your a childminder / nursery worker, teacher etc what is a gift you are pleased to receive off parents at Christmas? I have 2 childminders to buy for and want to get them something they’d like ideally!

last year I gave £25 just eat voucher each, with a card saying to treat themselves to a well deserved takeaway! Unsure what to do this year. Thank you

A justeat or deliveroo voucher definitely wouldn't go amiss. What I personally really like is something made by the child, I have things from 10+ years ago like painted trinket boxes, bookmarks, keyrings that I still treasure!

I’m going with £20 Amazon vouchers (there’s bloody six of them to get!) with a voucher plus a few extra presents for the key worker.

I think they’ll be inundated with chocolate/biscuits etc so wanted to let the staff decide what they buy for themselves.

Vouchers are amazing! Though not the Love2Shop ones as there are few places near here which take them and they lose value quickly. And I'd rather have a bar of milk chocolate rather than a box as most wnt be eaten, but I'm grateful for anything.

Parent here:

We did a small ornament as our childminder had a mindee-tree where she kept all things gifted or what they did during the time with her.
Then a bottle and some chocolates which were teen friendly as well as she had two of her own and DD loved the girls.

Nursery - voucher, it depended on the keyworker. We did Amazon for one who was just 20, stationary for the guy who studied part-time and always said he run out of notebooks and lost pens, book token for the last one in her pre-school room.

When I worked as a nursery practitioner we really loved a good voucher 👍 Came in very handy

Vouchers are a lovely idea and make sure that the envelope is addressed to a particular key worker otherwise they have to be given in for all to share .This has happened in my sister's nursery .
