London at Christmas

Can anyone recommend any festive attractions in central London? We are free this Sunday but only day time so no lights, also no ice skating because we’re doing this on Christmas Eve. Don’t really want a show.
2 adults and 2 kids age 9&7
I looked at Battersea and Southbank but not sure there’s much that will interest the kids.
Charles Dickens museum? Greenwich? Trafalgar Square/Covent Garden?
Thank you!

Ride the Cyclone? A musical? Oliver if available? Christmas tea at a hotel? River trip and south bank?

The Old Operating Theatre at London Bridge is fascinating and great fun for children

@OhDear111I don’t want a show - a boat ride could be good coupled with the Christmas market, thank you.
@DevaneyRob43I’d never heard of it and it looks great! Will go next year I think as hoping for something more festive this side of Christmas

Gingerbread city King’s Cross. Not central but Young V&A Bethnal Green is good. Leicester sq - M&M shop and Lego shop always a hit with kids then walk up to Cov gdn. Hamley’s toy store. Hyde park winter wonderland is open too.

Will be super busy so if eating out do book!
