Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

Could I please ask for advice on a prezzie bought for BFriend who has had rough year. Bought the Neom Wellbeing mini pod at TK Maxx for 39.99. But should have researched more because it looks like the oils are 20 pounds plus for 10ml and worrying now that Ive bought her something that means she will have to constantly find the cash to shell out for expensive oils? Has anyone got a Neom Wellbeing mini pod and used say Nikura 10ml oils OK in them please? Their Misti looks a much better offer and is in the BFriday sale so dithering whether to return the wellbeing pod and buy the Misti instead. Would be grateful for anyones practical tips as dont want to mess up a prezzie I thought would be something nice to switch on after hospital appts. Hv googled but cant find answer 😕

@WimbyAcemy BDH just arrived - word of warning NY it came in original packaging with a massive sticker showing exactly what it was 😮‍💨 had to do some quick moves at the door with the delivery guy to avoid anyone seeing!

Premier inn home sometimes have offers on their website and their pillows are lovely, haven't got the duvet though.
Also, dunelms own brand duvet is good.

@Donsybprimark have just started doing an accessible range which has loose cuffs, holes for medical lines etc - not sure if it’s exactly what you need but I noticed it when queuing up last week

Haha I know DS has a single duvet that needs upgrading and was going to get him a double ahead of a new bed in the new year, he has a red arrows duvet set on his list too (he is plane daft) so will definitely help pad things out!

We got my DD a double duvet for her birthday as she kept asking, it was probably the gift she was most excited about!

@QVCismyJam - I have one of the first Neom diffusers that come out and I stick any oil in it - it doesn’t seem to be fussy

assuming that the newer one is still “add a few drops of oil to water” then I can’t see how it would know if the oil is not “Neom”?

Dock and Bay have some good offers at the moment. I got some reduced hair wraps for the DDs and DNeice and a towel for my sailing mad DD for her birthday. LAst year I gave the colling gym towels to a range of people and they liked them. Make good stocking fillers

Does anyone have any good ideas for Beano storage? Other half has several vintage Beanos and they are larger than usual comic books so don’t fit in the (very boring) generic comic book storage. I’ve seen a couple of things on Etsy which are like wooden boxes with a plastic panel at one end, so there’s one on display and the rest in the box but these are all shipping from the US which makes it quite expensive.
