Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

I have just ordered a cheese advent too. Might give it to my dad for his birthday on Tuesday as an extra. Hope my parents have room in their fridge!

I added a blue and an orange to my basket to include on an order today, when I went back there was a further voucher against each taking them down to £6.11 each (it then dissapeared on checkout but reappeared on the final basket page)

It doesn't seem to happen when I add the other colours or another after checking out so not sure if it was random or after 24 hours, but might be worth a try as they're a great deal for that price!

@Papillon1 - I got a GB mystery box one year - it was ok. Looking at the most recent reviews, people were happier with the ten item box than with the smaller one.

I also think that people who subscribed to GB were annoyed that the small mystery box was just an old monthly box left over from earlier in the year so it was stuff they had had before. (The box I ordered was definitely an old monthly box, but as I wasn’t a subscriber I didn’t care!) There also seems to have been an issue with one particular item. I would take comfort from the fact that it was the same dud in each box so hopefully it wouldn’t happen again.

Do be careful with GB though, if ordering. It’s very easy to end up with a subscription by mistake and their CS are a nightmare to deal with re: cancellation.

It really IS a brilliant price, I'm delighted & hoping he agrees about the classic black. I think they'll last years (much longer than the Dr Marten shoes a few years back 🙄). Solovairs are very cool, very like DS who is 21 & the coolest guy I know (he doesn't know it, which makes him even cooler).
