Thread 12 - The one where it's All Pants (and socks)

1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 25/11/2025 20:27

Levi's pants and socks, that is. It's also exactly a month until Christmas!

Also, I have to thank @FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease for this quote, as it really tickled me: "Well it's not going to be the one where we found the fucking flamingo.
Honestly I'm starting to despise the stupid, elusive, constipated thing." Sadly, it was too long to make the thread title.

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

Good morning, has anybody seen any decent Stranger Things stuff? 18yo ds absolutely loves it, he rewatched a couple of seasons to get ready for the new one! Just a stocking filler really, unless very special. Thank you x

CalliopePlantain · 29/11/2025 09:21

ninja slushi for £199 instead of £349. They’ve given me a code but not sure if it’s one time use.

B&M have lots of Stranger things foodie bits

Tryonemoretime · 29/11/2025 09:23

Any ideas for a 13 year old boy not into sports or reading would be very welcome. I'm already giving him a decent wad of cash towards something he needs for his computer, but want to give him something to open on Christmas day. Thank you. And I absolutely love this thread!

Comefromaway · 29/11/2025 09:25

Does he listen to music? Mine loved a shower proof Bluetooth speaker (still does)

last year I made him a hamper of his favourite snacks.

They don't really do discounts. It's a family run business, all handmade in the UK (properly, not like DMs!). There is an outlet shop though if you are local to Northampton....?

Yes, these are all the reasons that he wants them. He's very eco- conscious & doesn't buy anything he doesn't need & a lot of 2nd hand (I definitely can learn from him, he's a wonder). I suppose the £170 is worth it for those credentials.

Unfortunately not near Northampton- I'm in Scotland 🙈, but thanks for the tip for the future.

watchuswreckthemic · 29/11/2025 09:29

@ThatshallotBabytry b and m. They have stranger things pop tarts and fruit winder things plus blind bags etc

Puffalicious · 29/11/2025 09:30

Arregaithel · 29/11/2025 03:24

Would you consider factory seconds @Puffalicious?

I certainly would, thank you! Unfortunately, the style he wants isn't here, but it's a brilliant link to keep for the future.

Awesome. Thank you.

whereareyousleep · 29/11/2025 09:36

Stranger things - lots of stuff in primark socks/hoodies/onesies etc. Lots of places have pop figures too!
Ive bought quite a few bits as stocking fillers for my DS luckily with the new season being out there’s quite a lot about.

ThatshallotBaby · 29/11/2025 09:38

Thank you so much for your help, I will gird myself for some real life shopping Smile

bizzey · 29/11/2025 09:49

Ok...I am about to click my order for Chuckling Cheese .

Those of you with experience .what date shall I put in for delivery ??

Presume cheese has a goodish sell /eat date.

Should I go mid December or ?22 ??

I also have decided that my mums fridge will sort out my fridge dilemma !! 😅😅😅

Sasha07 · 29/11/2025 09:55

Chuckling Cheese code: NN43CR9Q
I think the codes are one time use, I won't be using it so I'll leave it here 🧀

Absolutemess · 29/11/2025 09:57

Not massively Christmassy, but does anyone have any recommendations for sugar free coffee syrup please?

FireandBrimstone · 29/11/2025 09:57

Hope nobody minds an ask from an occasional lurker - has anyone seen a mint choc candle under a tenner (for a stocking filler)? I saw one somewhere weeks ago and should have picked it up at the time, now I’ve no idea where I was!

I know there are some higher-priced ones online but this is just a little extra for one of DCs. Thanks

No worries. The factory seconds linked earlier are also brilliant - you can honestly hardly tell what is wrong with them (we have a few pairs!). If you do ever make it down this way, there is an outlet side to the shop too. Plus they do factory tours occasionally, which are really interesting.

Have you looked at 121shoes? They have some styles in stock and are also doing a Black Friday sale.

If that fails, let me know the style and size and I'll see if I can help further ....

Pooch and Mutt code for 45% off if anyone could use it BF45-4USA Hopefully it's still working.

Thank you, just used this for the advent calendar - it's already discounted for BF and with your code was £4.40 - postage was £1.99 and there was a free gift of dog snacks.

Absolutely delighted, got an email from Wonderbly books saying I had £10 account credit about to expire, I'd forgotten I even had an account, this stacked with 25% off for black Friday and a code from the referral thread so I've ended up just paying postage for a personalised book which DS will love as a stocking filler. We've had their Little boy/girl who lost their name books and they are lovely quality. If you've shopped with them before check your account for credit!

hby9628 · 29/11/2025 10:17

Floral street has 25% off everything on their site. I’ve had one of their perfumes and it’s lovely. The scent lasts ages. The discovery sets look good
free postage over £25 but £5 postage if under. I was going to get myself and discovery set but it’s down to £22.50 & I can’t bring myself to pay postage!

mickandrorty · 29/11/2025 10:24

ELF app again my DD wanted the glow reviver melting lip balm i ordered 2 to get 2 free lip liners added a couple of other bits to take it over £25 to get the free holy grail gifts. Had a £6 off bonus voucher in my rewards and its free shipping this weekend. My basket came to £33 in total £27 with voucher and I got 10 items!

bizzey · 29/11/2025 10:24

Ok ..I have not the cheese bullet !!

I have got 2 advent Calenders and 3 pickles including p&p for £25 !!

SirLottie · 29/11/2025 10:26

@hby9628 I had the same dilemma but found out they have the floral street sets at the same price in M&S, and they do free click and collect!

OMG you an are absolute WONDER! I hadn't found 121shoes despite lots of searching. His preferred style are on the way for £109 instead of £169.

He'd like to try them in 2 colours. I can only get the black on there. He can try them for size/ fit/ looks & if he decides he'd prefer brown I'll give you a shout for more ideas.

Honestly, you have made my Saturday, you little, Christmas angel😇
