MP3 player for teenage boy

ds likes to listen to music on was to and from school but his school have just banned phones on the premises. Can anyone recommend an mp3 player? Thought it might make a good Christmas present

Same here…I’m reluctant to buy one off Amazon as we’ve had a mixed experience in the past with cheap tech. Such a shame that Apple discontinued making iPods!
