Netflix as a gift

Saw in Sainsbury’s that you can buy a Netflix gift card. Has anyone done this and was it easy? Was thinking of getting as a gift for a friend. I assume that if I look at the cost of a year subscription and load that amount on the card then it’s as simple as that? Wasn’t sure if it was different prices via DD than I’m guessing paying upfront?

I pay for an extra subscription as part of my package - it £10 per month and has been a great gift for my parents

Oh I hadn’t thought of this. We were thinking of getting an annual subscription for my in laws but couldn’t see how the gift voucher thing would work. Will look into this option!

I've had a gift card, you just load it onto your account and then it takes whatever your monthly subscription is off of the total until it's gone. You do have to enter your debit card details for when it runs out but you can always cancel it before it takes any actual money.

We got my parents one last year. £50 gave them ten months at £4.99 a month. They loved it and didn't care about the ads.
