Thank you for the sockshop mention and codes above - got myself a (totally unnecessary) advent calendar and the sock crackers!

That’s the right number of crackers for the adults at Christmas, so I thought I’d put socks in DIY crackers for the kids (looking at the Dunelm set, not bad for £4). So, has anyone seen any bargain kids Christmas socks anywhere? I’ll need sizes from toddlers to tweens!

When I ordered the Levi socks this morning the pairs I chose were showing 5 left, I was quite early at it. I imagine lots of people had them in baskets and checked out together hence the orders being cancelled for those they didn’t have the stock to fulfil.

@imnottoofussed I've already bought it. The re checking prices can be a headache. When I was looking and checking at weekend cult did seem to coming out cheaper comparing baskets to LF as I got the laneige set aswell 🤷🏻‍♀️. I'm very glad I'm nearly finished 😂

If anyone is looking for tubs of celebrations, and is a just eat plus member, you can get two tubs from Iceland for £2.45 each then TENOFF gets £10 off £25. I bought other food that was on offer plus some own brand things that I needed anyway, to make it to the min spend. Worked out just under £19 for the two tubs and a decent bag of groceries delivered

Having worked in a store that sold walking gear and kitted out a lot of D of E kids I would say no. They aren’t walking boots- they are walking shoes, they don’t provide the ankle support boots do. The word ‘low’ in the name is the giveaway. For D of E I would recommend atleast a ‘mid’ if not a full boot.

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that ordered the Owala bottle from OnBuy - mine arrived today and it is indeed fake, not a problem as DD is 17 and will take it for what it is, I paid £12 including postage, so not a bad deal. it's very big and the pattern is slightly different to the Owala, it also doesn't have the branding around the neck of the bottle.

usually you can get a good deal £30-40 during Black Friday events on the standard (thermoball) ones. The Nuptse range (next range up) are real down filled and cost more but you can usually get for about £40-50 in the sales and they are another level. Warm but your feet never overheat.
