1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 21/11/2025 10:39

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

Look Fantastic have some SDJ offers - including fragrance

https://www.lookfantastic.com/c/brands/sol-de-janeiro/

I can PM you a referral code for £10 off first order if you haven't used LF before

IlovePond · 24/11/2025 18:20

Hi,

Code: 40PLUS sometimes take more off at LF in addition to existing discounts.

Sonyo · 24/11/2025 18:32

Beanies Coffee have free delivery if you spend at least £20 until 3 PM tomorrow. You usually need to spend £35. Code is MONDAYBLUES

DaffodilsInAJamjar · 24/11/2025 18:37

My Levi’s order was cancelled within half an hour of placing it, annoying. Good find though!

imnottoofussed · 24/11/2025 18:38

Have you seen that Argos has the shitting giraffe for £22 or does it need to be the Flamingo?

It has to be the poxy flamingo.

I've got shitting giraffe options a plenty. But noooooo. It needs to be that stupid Sherbet.

Thank you for the reminder!

I’m hoping M&S might do theirs too this year on the sparks app, anyone with insider knowledge know if they will be or not? 😁

They ditched it last year, so I can't imagine they will bring it back after the year they have had, but you never know

The referral £10 off doesn’t work on SDJ products unfortunately. They are excluded from the offer (which is highly annoying as I wanted to order for dd!)

Talisin · 24/11/2025 14:06

Still not the Shitting Flamingo but may i offer this up as something the poster tirelessly chasing one deserves for herself.

That has made me absolutely die 😂😂😂

Thank you x

imnottoofussed · 24/11/2025 18:53

@Leafywool try code 40PLUS as that sometimes gives a discounts on look fantastic

i used it earlier to get a bit off some laneige sets which were already reduced and I believe it also works in sdj

The one with the Drunk Flamingo may be a contender for the next thread title!

DD1 wants one of those projected things that project a magical/snowy/mountain window/scene onto your wall. I think I keep looking at the wrong thing.

What is it I need, and what's a good one? Any bargains? You can't tell I need help here Grin

Just got some bargain Karrimor boots for DH from Amazon - £34.99 but nearly £90 from Karrimor.

They arrived today and are perfect:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Karrimor-Walking-Treking-Hiking-Weathertite/dp/B00ZZQQ800/ref=asc_df_B00ZZQQ800?

This is an amazing deal! Sizing wise do you know if they are true to size or how they compare to skechers? I'll definitely buy for DH who needs a new pair. Thanks

IlovePond · 24/11/2025 19:07

@Mandarina33 - DH is a 9.5 and the Karrimor boots I linked fitted him perfectly. Based on that, I would say they are tts.

Note:

Amazon are selling them on behalf of Sports Direct, but because it’s Amazon, you get free ‘no-quibble’ returns, (unlike SD who charge £4.99 and can be awkward about returns!)

Thanks, my DH is 9.5 too so I'll get them and fingers crossed. I do have to pay £4.99 delivery, did you have that too?

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2025 19:09

Isle of Skye candles are 35% off the Scottish collection. Lovely candles and they do a referral scheme. I won’t paste mine as I got tons of them last year unless someone wants one to set them off

IlovePond · 24/11/2025 19:10

@Mandarina33 - just to say, they are ‘walking boots’ so perfect for DH’s dog-walking activities, and, apparently they are waterproof, but DH says they feel more ‘rigid’ than trainers.

Edited: Just saw your question: Sadly I did have to pay postage but at least I knew I wouldn’t have to pay for returns if they didn’t fit.

I was about to be miffed as I'd placed an order with them yesterday, but everything I ordered is now more expensive than it was over the weekend! Very cheeky of them to promote it as a sale.

lemonsmum · 24/11/2025 19:17

@sillygoof I found cult beauty seemed to have a good deal when I was looking at the weekend

Thanks a lot. My DH works in an office and the only walking he does is from the parking lot to his desk, but for some reason he wears walking boots daily so hopefully he'll be happy with them. Even with the delivery it's still a great offer so I'll get them. Thank you so much for your help 💚

Donsyb · 24/11/2025 19:20

Got DP a belt from Levi for £10 (free delivery) instead of £35 😊

imnottoofussed · 24/11/2025 19:23

@lemonsmumthat same set is £23.80 on look fantastic although the influencer discount doesn’t work on it but I think does work on some of the products

They also have code SAVE which can be used on some of the sol de janeiro sets to get 25% off

Jumping on to ask - do you think these would work for Duke of Edinburgh? Or are they not tough enough? DS14 has just signed up.
