Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

They also do hoody’s if you search kids hoody…. Instead

AndSoFinally · 23/11/2025 12:59

And pencil cases, mugs, cushions, stickers. Pretty much anything

Redbubble is your friend for this sort of thing. Basically chose any available logo and they print it on any style or colour of T-shirt.

search kids T shirt Kaiser Chiefs and you’ll see a whole range of designs

postage a bit steep if I remember rightly though

And it seems to be 50% off at the minute so be quick as it’s quite spendy usually 😊

They sometimes have the brush head packs on Boots £10 Tuesday.

I've seen the standard Oral B brush heads on the Boots deal but the iO range are different. A 4 pack is currently on a Clubcard deal for £15.

Sleeposaurus · 23/11/2025 13:12

@maybemrs My dishoom gift set from anthropologie also had a use by date of 27.12.25. I messaged them and they said (after much thinking) did I want to return it or give them feedback. I said I would like to exchange it and that my feedback was food gift sets should be sold with longer than 5 weeks until the use by date.

They said they will get back to me in 3 working days 🤨. So if the idea of the £20 voucher was to get me hooked as a customer, it hasn't worked. What rubbish service (and I know I had money off, but the ser was £28 for 3 jars of chutney so I don't think it an unreasonable ask that it be giftable for christmas).

Any chance you saw any Lush-like bath bombs?

Sadly no it's just bubble bath or shower gel

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2025 13:21

If anyone is thinking similar these are £8.50 at boots but in their 3 for 2 offer making it slightly cheaper. Might also be able to take advantage of points offers if buying in bulk too.

They have the iO’s as well sometimes. Last Tuesday it was the 2 pack for £10 but I have seen a 4 pack at least once.

@Solmum1964 we have bike pumps like this https://amzn.eu/d/fLMRssC

i think that’s what a PP (sorry can’t scroll back to check names) meant when she said rechargeable bike pump. They aren’t the CO2 canisters it’s just a small pump that you charge up but it’s like a mini compressor. They are flipping amazing. I’ve only linked this one to show you what I mean so this might not be the best price (I think ours came from Ali express as my dad gave us them). I highly recommend them though.

The Knog Oi bike bell is very pleasing and quite posh if he fancies an upgrade. Very stylish and makes a lovely sound 😁

Solmum1964 · 23/11/2025 13:31

I've posted in previous years, Tesco have a Clubcard Plus subscription where you pay £7.99 a month and get 10% off two shops each month to a maximum of £20 each. You also get 10% off Tesco Brands at any time (F&F clothes, Pro Cook, Fox & Ivy, Go Play etc). I usually max out my shops by stocking up on meat (for the freezer), wine and household items and just do top up shops for milk, fruit and veg in between.
If you haven't previously subscribed, you can get a month's free trial and it stacks with other offers too! eg wine on Clubcard price; buy 6 and save 25%, then save a further 10%. So an £8.50 bottle of Barefoot Merlot comes down to around £5.06 after all the discounts have been applied. It might help someone stretch their budget a bit further, even if you only take advantage of the free month 😁

I think we'll stick with our Pros until they die. DH manages to kill a head in just over a month, even with the pressure warning!

Speak of toothbrushes, does anyone know if oral b sell non-Disney heads for kids electric toothbrushes? Struggling to find some for tween DD. Thanks!

Edited

That looks pretty amazing - I didn't know such a thing existed. I shall investigate further, thank you!

Unfortunately it’s in the terms and conditions that you cannot combine the 10% with the 25% off 6 bottles

MadeForThis · 23/11/2025 13:56

Thinking of getting a smart watch for DD10. Mainly want GPS tracking and step counter. Some fitness games would be ok. Don’t want/need internet or calls.

is it possible to get one that’s tracks gps without being in range of a phone? Or do I need a sim contract for data too? Would like to spend as close to £100 as possible.

FurForksSake · 23/11/2025 13:56

@Sleeposaurus did you do the chat bot and ask to speak to a human? The humans are able to actually sort things out and use nuance. I found their customer service pretty decent when my item arrived damaged.

Montanna15 · 23/11/2025 14:08

@gingerbreadmumm amazing I got one thank you!!

I do remember reading that when I first took the subscription out. However, I've been using it for years now and it has always stacked.

Mumsnet favourite, Blokus, is down to only £10.99 on Amazon.

AFAIK the standard oral b heads fit on the kids toothbrushes as the fixing is the same.

Happy news 🎉
My bargain Canterbury order arrived this morning! Surprised they actually fulfilled it with the glitch but very happy that I’ve got four pairs of boots for less than the price of 1! 😅 👏

Ah amazing!! Our store had quite a few, though I had to hunt to find them 😂

CatRash · 23/11/2025 14:42

Update re. HiSmile order:-

I ordered Thursday night and received today, electric toothbrush, cake flavoured toothpaste and two mystery flavours which turned out to be watermelon and Chupa Chups cola for £14 delivered.

Also I noticed on my email the mystery flavours are assigned letters so I got:-

Mystery Toothpaste W ( I wonder if this is the watermelon one)

Mystery Toothpaste Q (I assume this is the cola one)

You can see what letters you've been assigned during the checkout process (before you actually checkout) although it's not easy to change them - you'd have to remove the entire Vault bundle from your basket and start again.

ChristmasMad1 · 23/11/2025 14:44

My son has wrote his Christmas list, and it's all brainrot items (e.g. 67)? Does anyone know where I can get any cheap stuff?
