Tiny advent treats for teens

Hi festive folks!

I’m looking for some inspiration, but I don’t really know exactly what I’m after.

My DCs are mid and late teens, and early twenties. We’ve got some nice bits planned for December, plus a chocolate advent calendar each and a shared Lego calendar. I’m looking for wee ideas of tiny things to give them some mornings, just as a little festive treat. I’ve ordered some Christmas socks, some (unbranded) Christmas-themed LEGO kits, and some wind-up toys for silly races. Was going to get some Reese’s Christmas trees and some of their favourite fizzy drinks to take to school/uni/work for a snack.

We spend quite a bit on advent and Christmas Eve stuff so I’m hoping not to spend £££ on these extra bits. Anyone have some nice treat or fun ideas please? I think we’re missing the elf a tiny bit Thanks in advance, MNers 😁

I’m planning mini mince pies, possibly might need to put in the night before to avoid them going stale and sachets of nice coffee/hot chocolate for the velvetiser, also have a packs of plastic free gum in watermelon, still need a few more ideas though.

I realise that’s all consumables and probably not what you’re looking for.

Not at all, those are some great ideas thanks! I set up a hot chocolate station for them at the beginning of December so maybe some special things for that would be nice. I prefer consumables because then it’s not all going to landfill or lying around my house! Things like socks they keep and use in subsequent years (and often throughout the year too 😆). Our annual Christmas Eve pyjamas get worn all year too, so I tend to go for tartan rather than anything wildly festive.

I have a beauty advent calendar box that I refill each year for my teen sons. We have plenty of sweets/chocs but also, mini cans of coke/sprite, travel size toiletries, socks, a Christmas tree decoration, little LED lights etc

Lip balm, Christmas shower/bath stuff/bath bomb (home bargains had lots of Christmas smelling branded ones in for a £1 or £2. They also had cans of Christmas Ironbrew in for 60p.

I’d love some proper Xmas pjs! Some lip balm and hand cream, gloves, Xmas read diffuser/ candle, shower gel. Xmas mug. Xmas tree decoration each to start a collection for own tree, warm cosy socks, thermal heat gen type top, car stuff like ice scraper, Christmas travel mug. I love this stuff but by Xmas day it’s too late and too tight to buy my own! I’m going to send this list to my my mum but I’m 45

I’ve got a Christmas jigsaw from a charity shop for my dc to do during December. Also got Christmas soap ready to put in the downstairs loo and Christmas shower gel. Dd has bought herself some Christmas nail wraps.

I have made my DD and advent calenar, and it's mainly pin badges/key rings of her favourite anime characters. Also there are a couple of fidgets, a lip balm, a little mini tape measure (she does a lot of handicrafts and is forever borrowing my ruler). A little tree decoration of the animal of her Chinese birth year!

Was going to put sweets/poung coins, but I ran out of pockets!

Sostrene Green has some great stuff - mini make
up sponges that cost £1.60 but will be great for concealer etc.
multi pack Lindt deer/bears - usually 5 days sorted!
fluffy socks, hair masks, foot masks.
I actually bought loads of advent calendar stuff in the sales earlier this year. Xmas themed jewellery - Next often have lovely bracelets with a Xmas themed charm or nice stud earrings.
