AirPod max? Any deals?

Hi, my son has asked for these but ouch at the price! Has anyone seen or heard of any deals coming up? Specially with Black Friday on the horizon. Thanks.

On Black Friday Apple usually have deal, where you get an Apple voucher back depending on how much you spend.

I am looking for another pair at the moment but can confirm last year Apple only did Black Friday on phones, not AirPods. This year might be different of course.

OP, John Lewis have the second generation ones for £169. I also highly recommend their insurance cover on them. My sons have been replaced twice, no questions asked when the first pair were trodden on and the second pair went through the wash. Been worth the £30.

Are these the large over ear ones, I have seen these on offer at times in some of the colours, not necessarily just on BF. I would probably keep an eye on the prices, would refurbished be an option with these as they are not in ear.

There are some refurbished pristine at Music Magpie for £399 plus extra 10% off. They are very expensive aren't they, I have some for doing housework and stuff so I don't subject DH to my music as I can only wear my in ear ones when sitting still.

It looks like there was a £60 gift card last year on BF for these at Apple, they usually release what's on offer a bit before so might be worth hanging on a week or so
