I have a 13 year old. So far he’s getting Adidas trainers and a Nike hoody, a set of CK miniatures and a microwave toastie maker. He enjoys factual books so probably Ripleys believe it or not.

ThumbTowers · 16/11/2025 17:13

Gaming and sport related stuff (e.g. personalised football, football shirt etc), more interested in clothes now so they have chosen a hoodie they want, also i would recommend food related gifts e.g. a waffle maker, cheese toastie maker, popcorn maker, hot chocolate flavours with sprinkles to make a sort of hamper etc.

Lidlisthebusiness · 16/11/2025 17:13

My 12yr old has asked for:
2 x Big Lego Fortnite sets and Brickheadz
New daysack for cadets
Disney Squishmallow
Hot Chocolate Maker
Surf board
First phone
Bike
Money

His birthday is 3 weeks after Christmas, so I'll spilt it between the 2 events with a couple of surprises. Probably a board or card game, clothes, book/graphic novel etc.

Oohh · 16/11/2025 17:15

Following. My 13 year old is getting

vouchers for indoor snow dome
Lego
ive seen a retro game thing like a game boy as a maybe
Ripleys believe it or not although I don’t know if he’s into it anymore

not sure what else. He is so hard to buy for and also doesn’t seem to have a clue what he wants

neonleopard · 16/11/2025 17:23

My 13 year old is getting funko pops based on current favorite TV show as he wants to start collecting them, plus some other bits of merch from same show inc a Lego set. A fleece jacket. Cards against humanity family edition. Lynx. A portable Bluetooth speaker and maybe a new keyboard for the family PC which he mostly uses. Box of single use hand warmers as he likes taking them for walk to school! We’ve bought some family tickets to a couple of musicals next year which he will enjoy too. But no really big ticket or wow item this year!

FurForksSake · 16/11/2025 17:26

Meta quest 3
hot chocolate maker
comic book about ramen
north face hoodie and T-shirt

plus a stocking.

he’s asked for board games from the grandparents (exploding kittens)

A cheap teepee tent for camping in the garden with friends, Nike socks and t-shirt and loads of food! 14yo.

Topbird29 · 16/11/2025 17:35

Lego.
New gaming headphones
Vbucks vouchers.
A massive 850g dairy milk bar!
A tshirt he wanted.
Pre ordered a book that's out in Jan. Usually get him more books, but has loads from last year to catch up on.
And has now asked for a drawing/ animation tablet - so now looking that as a main item.
Doesn't do a sport, not too bothered about clothing brands etc so can be hard to know what to get!

Millionaura · 16/11/2025 18:04

Mountain Bike
Nike Dunk Lego
Football
Shin Pads, grip socks, sleeves
Hunger Games Book set
Pictionary
Snacks / Chocolate
Vouchers from extended family.

Age 13. I agree - it’s getting trickier (and also more expensive).

He wants a PS5 so we’ve just got him a new tv to support it and a hotel chocolat cold chocolate maker. He had the hot chocolate one last year and loved it.

Lidlisthebusiness · 16/11/2025 20:27

A few of us mentioned a hot chocolate maker. Can I ask which one you're going for please? He got one last year, about £20 from Amazon, which was great but broke after a few months.
I'm also going to nab a few of these suggestions!

IndigoIsMyFavouriteColour · 16/11/2025 20:30

Warhammer set
lynx set
Nivea set
sorting out his brothers old bike for him
new phone

ScarletWitchM · 16/11/2025 20:33

My DS is getting some history books he has asked for, some biscuits and chocolate treats, a new wallet & some stocking fillers.

I got DD the hotel chocolat Velvetiser a few years ago – I thought it was pricey but I don’t regret it because she uses it so often!
